    I view England as Germanic/Celtic. You're genetically more Germanic than most central European countries though, including Germany.

    But anyway, what else should England be if not Germanic. Yet it's language is probably the most foreign (Romance) influenced Germanic language.

    Pre-WW1 Germany definitely viewed England as Germanic. I remember reading that the Kaiser referred to it as Teutonic. Also after WW1 I think some Germans called the English race traitors. I fully agree. They dishonourably betrayed their kin and perhaps god is punishing them for it now.

    True. If immigration is low level and the vast majority integrate well and quickly, as it has been pretty much for the last 1000 years, then it's fine.
