I found a documentary on their activities in Greece.
Obviously they follow Hezbolla's Lebanon example: creating a state, within the state.

They seem to help poor Greeks, ensuring their security through constitution of armed militia groups.

It seems they hate immigrants, Leftists (atheists), Anarchists-Bolsheviks and homosexual people:

They're just an organization to scare the shit out of the (former and reduced) middle class. They are probably puppets of rich businessmen who don't want a proper patriotic party to come to power, same way Syriza and KKE are there for the equivalent left wing purposes. Greek politics = it's all an act.
