Correct. If Elymians were alive today as a distinct group they'd probably be similar to Armenians.

It was the Sikels who were related to Ligurians, and they were in eastern Sicily.

Sikels were an IE people speaking an Italic langage related to Latin and Venetic. Perhaps you refer to Sicanians

Ligurians were IE people, too, with a language believed to be similar to Latin and ancient P-Celtic languages.

Ancient historians believed the Sicans were from Catalonia. Some modern-day historians believe they were from Illyria, like the Messapians were. Nobody knows. They haven't left many breadcrumbs behind.

And Sicel language has not been definitively linked to the Italic languages. The only consensus is that the language was Indo-European.

Sicanians are unlikely to have been Iberian -- if they were, they didn't leave much genetic impact, given current Sicilian genetics.

What is clear is that Sikels were closely related to mainland Italians (and probably not very genetically different from Greeks either, since even central Italians today cluster closely to Greeks and they are mostly Italic), and Elymians were from Anatolia.

Genetically it’s obviously Sicilians. Culturally I guess Turks because of Ottoman Empire influence in food etc. But we are pretty different to both of these groups.

Sicilians are Mediterraneans with some Arabic blood, while Turks are Mediterraneans with some Turkic Central Asian blood. Serbs are mix mainly between Mediterraneans and Slavs. So answer is to both in equal measure.
