I'm glad you brought up the Chinese during the Gold Rush. They're a great example of why your claim (that non-whites built the country) is baseless and incorrect. Hardly any Chinese stayed in Australia after the Gold Rush BECAUSE THEY HAD NO INTEREST IN BUILDING UP THE COUNTRY (with a couple of exceptions) but instead came only for personal gain (to mine gold) and then preferred to return to the Celestial Empire.

I know that White is not a synonym for Anglo-Saxon. What I'm saying is that "white" is an artificial concept linking people with no significant history/culture/genetics on the basis of imaginary continental lines. However, Australia was invaded by Anglo-Saxons and these people ruled Australia in its beginnings, a group of people who reject a significant portion of your own heritage.
