As for me, I have three citizenships: Belgian, Luxembourgish, Portuguese.

Two: Finland and Sweden.

I got Finland's citizenship automatically as my mother is Finland's citizen and I born in Finland.

I got Sweden's citizenship later on as my father is Sweden's citizen and he applied that to me.

So multi citizenship is allowed in both of those countries; meaning ... I did not need to cancel my Finland's citizenship to get Sweden's.

If my future husband (and father of my kids) will not be either Finland's and Sweden's citizen all will come pretty interesting . What citizenships my kids will get and how many.

My little first cousin has also two, Croatian and Irish. That's because her father (my father's brother) is Irish citizen and lived in Ireland for almost 20 years.
