It's right for the person in the situation who has been raped rather than living with a constant reminder and trauma of that rape and having their life, marriage, career, studies, etc, affected even more by a child born from a rape attack. It's right in the case of malformed fetuses rather than letting them develop and suffer, and it's right in the case where there is an ectopic pregnancy and a risk to the females life.

You are making declarative statements without arguments, so I'll answer in a similar manner.
Not in my opinion, if I could make abortion illegal here in cases of pregnancy caused by rape I'd do it without a second thought. The same thing for malformed fetuses.
Unless the life's mother is at stake (which is very rare as I said) there isn't anything to discuss for me.

I'm looking at actual figures from reputable sources rather than your biased guesswork.
There's around 11,000 cases of ectopic pregnancies each year in the UK (around 1 in every 90 pregnancies,) but the actual figure is believed to be even higher.
http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Ectopic...roduction.aspx
The first post in this thread reports 15,000 abortions were done in one year in the UK which is a very small percentage of the 63 million total population. If 11,000 ectopic pregnancies happen each year in the UK, then that could indicate the reason for most of the abortions in order to save the mothers life. I don't know how many pregnancies result from rape attacks each year in the UK, nor how many cases of spina bifida that are discovered in scans annually in the UK which result in people opting for an abortion rather than having a child with serious deformities, but people can look up the figures.
I've seen articles in magazines about people who were devastated because they lost their baby to an ectopic pregnancy.

The Telegraph article doesn't state that 15,500 was the total number of abortions realized in the UK, this is only the number for the incinerated remains, and the lowest bound since it says 'at least'. The total number of abortions is probably many times higher.
"There were 202,577 abortions carried out in Great Britain in 2013, of which 94% took place in England and Wales and 6% took place in Scotland"

And how many of those abortions were due to health concerns such as spina bifida, pregnancies from rapes, teen pregnancies, ectopic pregnancies? You want to judge and condemn people without taking into consideration the reasons for the abortions.
England probably has a higher percentage of pregnancies each year than Scotland anyway.
This report by the Scotland Herald states that Scotland has the second highest rate of teenage abortions in the world. http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/h...world.19138671
