I'm not a woman but when I see men looking like Yosemite Sam it seems like they're hiding behind the beard. Most women down here actually like facial hair though, which apparently is different than in other places? Personally, I grow out my beard but shave enough so that I don't have a disgusting neckbeard and so that most of my face is still visible. I don't worry about body hair much because mine isn't dark, though I trim a certain area often enough to keep things tame.

Well, Google translation is not the best, but I think it made my post at least halfway understandable.
What I wanted to point out: Don't follow blindly any fashions or trends!

As shaving of other than facial hair had been mentioned by some users, I had added links in German to make clear the close connection between this fashion dictate that was triggered by the porn industry and alarming trends in plastic surgery. Here are two similar links in English:

'Back, Crack and Sack': Pubic Shaving Trend Baffles Experts

More Women Seek Vaginal Plastic Surgery

And here is some information for men:

All about beards: Why grow a beard?

Why can't a man be more like a woman?

Men – stick together and don't allow those naughty women to take away the best of you!!

Anyway the best of you is having hard times nowadays...

I dare to say the aesthetical aspect and the question of undisturbed body contact plays a major role here. If anything, the porn industry follows the spirit of the time. Fashion varies and ways and means to get rid of unwanted body hairs are cheaply available.

nyway the best of you is having hard times nowadays...

Amusing, but I can't find the connection to our topic of body hairs.

Sure, but the porn industry has also been a great promoter of the spirit of the time. I'm sending you a video link via PM, a lecture about how this industry developed. Money is always a great promoter.

Klärchen, I am a fellow female that enjoys male facial hair. I don't have a particular style that I prefer, as that is defined mostly by the man's facial structure and his personal style. I'm more concerned with the length of the facial hair. Anything from stubble to up to about 1/2 inch I find attractive and dare I say it, sexy. But you get it any longer and then the hair starts to obscure the face and detracts from the appeal that the man has. I greatly dislike the ZZ Top look and Santa Claus look as well. Neatly trimmed and shaped to the face. Body hair I'm also fine with, to a point. I don't think that men that have an actual pelt is my ideal, but I like body hair on a man.

    :confused2:

Some of you ladies don't want a man - you want a metrosexual.

    Good luck with that.

    p.s What is a "soul patch" ?
Often, in our attempts to show people that they do not know what they believe they do, it is exposed that they lack any identity whatsoever - beyond the belief that they know anything at all.

I´m hairless, so all this metrosexual fashion is so good for me
When i was a teenager i hated being like this, all my friends had a beard and hair in the chest, belly.. and i didnt shave my face till i was 17 and a little moustache started to grow.
About my preferences in women, as i said before, i like just hair in the head, eyebrows and eyelashes. And it´s not because of the porn influence, i dislike tatoos and fake boobs too
