Well, what I meant to say more exactly is that those who look upon the photographs in this thread would be left with the impression that rural Norway is chalk-full of East Baltids; and, no different - Racially - than North West Russia, which isn't so. Incipiency (Cf. Coon) is common; full-blown Baltisation is rare.
Also, the macro and micro-nutrient profile of the traditional Scandinavian diet (diet improvement/decline being what would affect genotypical expression/phenotype the most in the last 100+ years) did not change much even after industrialisation (with the exception of Danes and their eating of candy). So, the overall Robusticity of Scandinavian phenotypes are no different today than in the time of the pictures; ergo, they are representative of 'aberrance' in the Scandinavian/Norwegain phenotypical cline, more than anything else.
