Well funny you should ask...
This past weekend we made a trip to Montreal to take in what I can only call a Pagan-Viking Metalfest which included the following acts:
Les Batards du Nord: a Quebecois Viking Metal Band (yes, no kidding! Complete wih garb and everything. Actually they weren't bad at all. I bought a shirt and a CD of theirs. Oh btw, I see that this very youtube vid was taken at the very concert we attended! Very cool!)

White Wizzard: a heavy metal band from Los Angeles. (I briefly spoke with the lead singer and when finding out he came from L.A. I smiled and said: "You must find it cold here LOL" He smiled politely and most likely thought "you're not kidding lady, now buy some of my shit so I can get out of here!" Hey here they are too from Saturday's performance at Club Soda in Montreal! up)

Swashbuckle: Now I don't know where these people come from but Man, can they make a crowd get into it! My favourite song had to be "Walk the Plank". I didn't think that there was such a thing as Pirate Metal but hey, proven wrong once again. Here is their performance of "Drink Up". But like I said, "Walk the Plank" was a favourite. Might be a good theme song for an admin.... oh I dunno.

Tyr: The group that we really went down to see. Bought their "Land" CD/DVD set. They were good but lacked a certain something. BEB mentioned to me that they are usually better when they themselves are the headliners. Perhaps this is what the problem was. That or I was expecting too much given my anticipation at seeing them live. Here they are at Club Soda this past Saturday.

This is really the song I was hoping to hear though which unfortunately they did not play (one of my favourite songs of theirs):

And last but not least Korpiklaani: What can I say? I had never really listened to their music before but they are a ton of fun live! Methinks they did a good enough of a good selling job to make me buy a CD of theirs eventually. Here they are at Club Soda this past Saturday (Oh ya and in this last vid, that security guard that you see every so often onstage was kept quite busy throwing people into the pit. Hysterical! Number One son loved watching it all and drunk in the whole experience):
