would a small thing such as how Jesus looked stopped it from conquering Europe? If they used an accurate depiction of Jesus would we still be worshipping Zeus and Poseidon or Thor and Odin?

Lol. Because that was the average look among Galileans 2,000 years ago, of course.

Good question. The West also seems to have overlooked the teachings about forgiving enemies and shunning worldly goods.

Regardless of how Jesus really looked like, tribes represent Jesus in a way that they can identify with because they converted to Christianity, not the other way around. So my answer is yes.

Galilee didn't display this phenotype in its population. Jesus probably looked more like Jeff Goldblum. Ancient Levantine.

Jesus was depicted with white hair & red eyes.

    Jesus died in his 30's!

Why did he have white hair that early!?

Why did he have red eyes!?

Sure sounds like a Caucasoid Albino to me!

Actually they did a facial construction of Jesus based on what people in Israel looked like in the 1st century.

You can probably find the story by Google. I don't think it made a difference (and it didn't). People back then didn't have cameras or any other pictures of Jesus, so everyone probably pictured him in their own way. Churches portraits of Jesus came later.

Nobody looked like pic above me in middle east back then, and they don't now either. Brachy folk were probably more slavvy looking. Regardless, jews are nothing to do with what are today considered semites, originally. Those came out of arabia in just the last 1300 years.

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

    how he most likely looked

    [/QUOTE]

Actually, he looked more like this, one of the earliest depictions of Jesus ever found (displaying "nappy" hair):

Archaeologists in Spain say they have found one of the world’s earliest known images of Jesus. It is engraved on a glass plate dating back to the 4th Century AD, reports from Spain say.

The pieces were in an excellent state of preservation – 81% of its original area has now been pieced together by scientists.

El Mundo notes that Christ looks very different from later depictions: he has no beard, his hair is not too long and he is wearing a philosopher’s toga.
    (BBC News)
Under close scrutiny, the division into races according to the colour of skin turns out to be quite the crudest and most obvious method, since there are noticeably inheritable characteristic racial differences among people of identically-coloured skins.

The identitarian values ethnic relatedness (racial identity) whereas the folkist values qualitative similarity (racial idealism). To the folkist, those similar to himself are those who share his ideals.
