    Default Musso's Ethnic Analysis

So after I received my 23andme results, I went on to do some analysis (yeah I used GED match) but for me it was interesting to compare each of my ancestry composition components that I received from Eurogenes and Dodecad to the average components of the other ethnic groups from the respective projects. It was a simple analysis and it was basically done as such:

e.g. Person A has 21.76% North Atlantic component from the Eurogenes V3. I see which ethnic group's average has the minimal distance from that percentage. In this case it would be Serbians.

Another important thing to note! While you will have ethnic groups for each category, they must be weighted. That is because if I have .01% of Oceania, that really is insignificant so I will put the respective (.01) weight at the side of the ethnic group, which will denote that I'm far from really being related to that ethnic group. Hence, the higher the weight, the more important the respective ethnic group to your ancestry composition.

Here are my results. Please note that I omitted some ethnic groups that were obviously far from me (e.g. Chinese, Swedish, African, etc.). I also didn't put anything for ancestry components that were very low.

    Dodecad V3 Project

    Eurogenes K13 Project

Basically my results are as such combining the two projects:
    (.30)Greek,(.27)Iranian Jew,(.24)Georgian,(.23)Romanian,(.21)Cyprian,(.18) Central Greek,(.17)Greek Thessaly,(.13)Armenian,(.11)Greek, (.07)Turks/Greeks,(.036)Portugese (.0175)Moldavian

Basically I'm getting mostly Southeastern European (mainly Greek) coupled with a significant West Asian pull (Iranian Jew, Cypriot, Armenian and Georgian). This is perfectly in sync with my haplogroups.

I think you might be partially Balkan Greek with good amount of Armenian ancestry. I do know that Greeks and Armenians interacted quite a lot.
    My genetic results
