The deputy speaker of the Russian Duma also made a similar proposal to Hungary and Romania. "We told him we were not doing it," Radoslaw Sikorski revealed on Wednesday. Sikorski also requested U.S. troop protection, and theorized about when Russia would stop. "Russia probably has enough resources to digest Crimea," he said. "I think all of eastern and southern Ukraine might give them indigestion."

Ukraine should be split between Russia and Poland. Or it should have referendum choosing countries they want to live in, for example: Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary. Such referendum would settle final borders in present day Ukraine.

Final borders are settled since quite a long time. Why would we want to annex Ukrainian lands, in your opinion?

Because Poland was in control of modern Ukrainian lands for centuries. But if Poland refused Ukrainian lands, then there is still a question of what people of various regions of Ukraine want. Maybe some regions want to be part of Russia or Slovakia for example.
