Default Parler francais comme un vache espagnol

I was translating this expression for class, and came across this post on a french translation forum:

    I have seen these:
He speaks English like a Spanish cow (this is the most common)
He speaks English like a Grizzly
He speaks English like if he have a d**k in his mouth
He speaks English like chief inspector Clouseau
He speaks English like a fa**ot
He speaks english like a retard with no tongue
... and maybe this means the same:
He speaks English like an American teenager

By the way, in Finland's Swedish "he speaks Swedish like a horse" (han talar svenska som en häst) means that he speaks Swedish very fluently.
I thought the note at the bottom was very interesting.

Are there similar expression in your language?

Actually, even if parler français comme une vache espagnole translates literally as 'to speak French like a Spanish cow', it's in theory a corruption of parler français comme un basque espagnol, 'to speak French like a Spanish Basque'.
