Pre 1939 borders were perfect.

Nonsense. I only see a bunch of self-imploding empires.

The late Victorian and Edwardian eras are definitely my spiritual epoch. The high culture of Europe and the West was at its' peak in the decades just before WWI, there was unquestionable White world supremacy, a healthy demographic situation, Hollywood and Jewish media hegemony didn't exist or wasn't yet pervasive. But it's easy to have rose-tinted glasses, life was much harder, less leisure time/workers rights, nutrition was worse, politically things were already going off the rails (the wars and leftist extremism of the 20th century didn't come from nowhere), and technologically/medically we were nowhere near the peak.
The national borders are kind of irrelevant in the scheme of things, unless you're an Austro-Hungarian, German or Russian revanchist.

Regardless of borders, Europes of 1914 and of 1939 was shit.
It was gerontocracy. High pollution. Poor food diversity. Culture, music & films sucked (yes, Jews make good movies, whether you like it or not, that's the reason why Jews dominate Hollywood - English people usually make boring movies by comparison; but at least you make great tea). There was no Internet & no real free speech. I could go on and on.
So what is so cool about these Victorian and Edwardian eras?
It was not cool for your average Englishman. Only for the English gerontocracy who pulled the strings and could send a million men into WW1 trenches when they wanted.
BTW who was the best allied commander of WW1? This guy:

^^^
His parents were from my region. BTW he was once asked by an English general what level of casualties did he anticipate for his next attack. He replied: "None". The English guy laughed at him and said: "you must anticipate at least 20% casualties!". Monash smiled and responded: "and that's why you still haven't won this fucking war!".
He was a bit of an "Australian Patton" I guess. He looked Jewish af when he was young:
Spoiler!

The World Wars caused enormous progress in terms of many fields of law. And not just International Law.
The basis for law in our Civilization is ancient Roman Law, but also legal innovations introduced in consequence of the the World Wars.
We should be thankful for the lesson of the World Wars, which helped us evolve into better human beings.
In Poland we say: "co cię nie zabije to cię zmocni" ("whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger"). The World Wars made us stronger.
=====
Also thanks to WW2 the state of Israel emerged - the Pearl of the Middle East, a Great Oasis of Civilization.
The dream of the Romans died when the last vestiges of the Roman REPUBLIC died, replaced by mentally ill Emperor's absolute power.
The dream of the Romans was democratic.
Undemocratic absolute monarchs of pre-enlightenment West Europe were the nightmare of the Romans, not the dream of the Romans!
