    Well, I find Spanish and Italian similar, the R sound and the simple vowels remember me Spanish. The Russian... Maybe the fact I don't understand anything. The first video sounds more russian, the second more spanish.

    They're very close as languages, that's why.

    Piemonteis was an occitan dialect up to 1300-1400, when was contaminated by western lombard.

    Still think Piemontese sounds more like Ligurian. It's the way some of the vowel combinations are pronounced.
