Not really, they're super typical for their ethnic groups, the first one forms around 40% of Nepal, while the latter groups fill most of the rest.

Keep in mind that high castes are a majority in Nepal like most of himalayas (Uttarakhand, Kashmir etc), while they are a minority in the ganges basin down south (UP, MP, Bihar etc)

Pahari/Khas people from Nepal (Nepal's dominant majority) are among the lightest people in the region, lighter than groups like Punjabis for sure.

But, its up to you to believe or not.
