Albanian language is one of the or the most mysterious languages that ever existed. All we know is that it's very very old, so ancient that we can't explain why Albanian is different. Once i saw a decumentary about languages and especially Albanian and they said that the Albanian is the mother language or all human languages.. Also that Albanian hide codes and scientist and glossologists are writing a book with proofs about it. I speak both Albanian and Greek, both of them are unique but they are not as close as other neigbhoor languages. So i vote for Armenia

Neither Greek nor Albanian are close to Armenian, however both Armenian and Albanian are Sentum languages and that makes them closer to each other by default. End of the story.

The Indoeuropean languages are divided in two large groups on the basis of the Centum-Satem isogloss. This division occured at an early stage of the evolution of the Proto indoeuropean. The Centum group includes: Celtic,Italic,Greek,Germanic and Tocharian.
    The Satem group includes:Baltic,Slavic,Indoiranian,Armenian,Albani an

You can post outdated theories here all you want, and vomiting bull out of your arss, but the fact remains that the closest living language to Greek is Armenian. Now, we know that Armenian has borrowed heavy from Persian, but it's still grouped into the Balkanic branch of Indo-European languages along with Phrygian.

In this group are: Albanian on the West, and Greek-Phrygian-Armenian on the East.
