Is population explosion a boon or a curse? For the European developed countries like Spain and Italy, where the population is decreasing, this might be considered as a boon. However, for the developing countries like India, population explosion is a curse and is damaging to the development of the country and it's society. The developing countries already facing a lack in their resources, and with the rapidly increasing population, the resources available per person are reduced further, leading to increased poverty, malnutrition, and other large population-related problems.

2 billion Africans before the century's out.. and they will be coming our way. Now THAT is a scary thought.

Due to global warming, more than 200 million Africans will be left without water and even food. There is no doubt that the African countries will be more desperate for resorces and wage more wars. The growing population in Africa also gives a negative effect to it's countries' economies, all in all leading to an extremly high mortality.

Humanity would be best off if we had a population of less than 6 billion or even less (not due to murder, but due to social measures, hell maybe even restrict reproduction to intellecutals as Tesla would have wanted)

As for resorces, we must force renewable energy sources more and more.
