Race is bound with identity in America much more than in Europe. Being black means belonging to the black community and not having certain percentage of certain ancestry.

I know that, but still its absurd to be 75 percent European and call yourself "African". "African American" as an ethnocultural identity is however somewhat more acceptable than an Europid person calling her/himself "black", which is absurd.

Its like the Nordid Indian being interviewed about his identity and talking about "what white men did to my ancestors" - probably "banging" his granny so to say and producing him...

There are so many Americans with a totally distorted self image and identity, its a true mess, its a psychological and social problem and they exported, with more or less violence, these problems to the rest of the world, because the plutocratic oligarchy saw, "oh nice, thats something we can work with, it destroys working communities and collective resistence, makes it easer to pseudo-individualise the people and making them dependent working slaves..."

Thats what happening while some people talk about whether a 10 percent Negrid person "being black" or not. The American public is lost in soft details rather than looking at the hard facts, thats why they are so easy to manipulate - same with religion and patriotism etc.

That is what it always comes down to when a racial debate comes up like this.

And it is a short-sighted view of history as well, Europeans and their descendants were not the only people to commit atrocities. This is obvious to us, but I always find it mind-blowingly amazing that others tend to ignore that fact.

There is no point in debating with people who have that world-view.
