    Also odd. In my country some non-muslim boys get named Karim. Dunno why as it's a muslim name. Parents and their choices.

    Bosnia is de-Slavified to some extent, as Islam is a stronger 'bane of cultures' than any other religion. I think it holds some truth.

    Luckily (subjective) they've also been Turkified or made Turkophile rather. The Turks have resisted some bit to the Arabisation Islam entails. Having Slavic names would make it seem better IMO. The Turks prove also they (Bosnians) can retain their own names.

    ILHANA is confusing ..is it female version of İlhan? This must be Bosniak version because Turkish language doesn't have gender suffix .
