The Snowman is a 26 minute long British animation film (for younger children with shorter attention-spans) based on a children's picture book without words by English author Raymond Briggs.
The animation is silent, focusing on facial expressions and can be universally understood.
The film story is told through silent moving pictures, action and music, scored by Howard Blake. It is wordless like the book, except for the song "Walking in the Air". In addition to the orchestral score, performed in the film by the Sinfonia of London, Blake composed the music and lyrics of the song, performed by a St Paul's Cathedral choirboy Peter Auty.
It's a charming but sad animation.

This is hilarious and so cute to watch. Morph is a traditional British animated plasticine stop-motion comedy that is silent except funny noises the characters make, so it can be universally understood.

Pingu is a classic BAFTA award-winning British-Swiss stop-motion claymated animated television series and it's sooo cute and funny for children to watch. It's in no particular language so it can be universally understood.
