Mine is from a coat of arms of some family that shares a surname with my Grandad. My Grandad's lot probably have no right to bear this shield whatsoever, but who cares!

Mine is a modern depiction of Edward of Woodstock (15 June 1330 – 8 June 1376), Prince of Wales. He was the son of Edward the IIIth of England and Filippa van Henegouwen. His nom de guerre was the Black Prince (hence my forumname), uncertain is if he got this name already by life or after his death.
