Revealed: Germany made a pledge at half-time not to humiliate Brazil in their World Cup semi-final (and STILL scored two more)
When Germany were 5-0 up they discussed need to show Brazil respect
Toni Kroos scored twice in the first half, while Thomas Muller, Sami Khedira and Miroslav Klose were also on the scoresheet
Klose's goal took him past Brazil legend Ronaldo's World Cup record of 15
Substitute Andre Schurrle added a brace before Oscar scored for Brazil
The win sealed Germany's place in the final, where they will play Argentina

Germany made a half-time pledge not to humiliate Brazil in their astonishing semi-final clash on Tuesday night.
Joachim Low’s side led 5-0 after the first 45 minutes in Belo Horizonte before completing a 7-1 rout to reach Sunday’s final.
But defender Mats Hummels said they were determined to be professional after the break.

I think this making headlines is even more humiliating for Brazil.
Damn that's really painful for Brazil. Equivalent to basketball it would be if a team scored 430 points, which has never happened.
I could be one of the few that totally understands how psychologically numb and defeated the Brazilian players must have felt ones the third goal hit the net.
That feeling of total defeat and totally owned is obsoletely terrible, crushing and this happens a lot in a card game but you always must come back.

Given the source, it's probably made up. I've read on a more serious source that Low told the players to play intelligent and explore the counter attack since they were already 5-0 up. And that's what they did... they controlled the match and had the ocasional counter attack.
