Princess Diana was Englands Rose, she was very sensitive to the suffering of other people and a humanitarian. Lady Diana's funeral was the most watched funeral ever in the history of the world. During her short lifetime, Princess Diana was the most photographed woman in the world with a very elegant and beautiful style. Lady Diana loved ballet lessons and playing the piano as a child and her dream was to become a ballet dancer, but she grew too tall, so she trained to be a nursery worker caring for children instead. Diana was born into aristocracy but she touched peoples hearts around the world.

Lady Diana Spencer would take secret trips outside at night to speak to homeless people, would campaign against wars and landmines by bravely walking in areas where landmines were prone, would hug dying children, and would often sit holding the hands of dying people in hospitals. Diana said she felt a connection with people who were feeling pain and she said that dying people seemed 'more real' to her in expressing themselves.

Princess Diana opened many hospitals and places to help the homeless, victims of domestic abuse, etc. Lady Diana gave public speeches to raise awareness about eating disorders.




Lady Diana was very controversial amongst the royal family for going against the rules of the establishment. Diana said in interviews (video interview below with Martin Bashir) that she would hurt herself and suffered from eating disorders due to the way the Royal Family treated her and that they hurt her feelings. Princess Diana said she wanted to be the 'Queen of Peoples Hearts' and said that someone had to go out and show love to people and engage more with the ordinary people and she said in the interview below that she felt it was her role to do so.




Diana was about to launch a campaign against Israel shortly around her sudden death in Paris. Diana had fallen in love and was engaged and pregnant to Dodi Fayed, the late Egyptian son of the former Harrods department store owner, Al Fayed, who was said to be close friends with the royal family up until his sons death with Princess Diana, and now he speaks out against the royal family at every media opportunity. Princess Diana is still viewed like a Goddess to many in England. She was laid to rest in the countryside grounds of her childhood home, on a small island in the serene gardens surrounded by a small lake. Memorial fountains are in the Harrods Department Store and also in Hyde Park, near her former Kensington Palace home. Princess Diana's funeral was watched by millions of mourners around the world whose hearts she had touched.
