White Pupils Held Back By £250M Bonus For Schools

A £250MILLION project to improve education for the poorest pupils has left some worse off than before.

There was no improvement in most pupils’ results, according to a damning report into the Government scheme. And it actually hindered the brightest pupils and those who are white and British.

There were also “negative changes” for Indian pupils, according to the Oxford University report commissioned by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
