Last I checked, white is a color. People don't get to choose what color their skin is, so votes mean nothing.

What they are voting about is, who gets the sociopolitical handicap to at time for the wrongs of their ancestors. Who gets the label and the stigma.

Who gets to lose every time. Hmm. Someone once said, anyone who loses the nations and outward wealth and prestige, might gain something less obvious. The future today looks like a little seed, but tomorrow maybe it's the pillar people will depend on.

Unfortunately this is a reality. Ive gotten into many arguements over the whiteness of Italians/Spaniards. So many that its like I don't even care to argue it anymore. Latinos & Sicilians really screwed up the view of them outside of Europe. Its not just the Northwest Euro descendents either. Ive gotten into arguements with Latinos and Blacks comparing Latin Europeans to Arabs and calling them ethnic. Some people are trolling, others are actually serious.

It's not only Latinos.It's the same In Europe.

Don't fret over it too much people do the same thing to Northerners who stray a little from the "white ideal". Ive seen people call David Gandy an arab.

White is not a color.

To be "White" is a social construct. Therefore, opinions are all that matter. If 1/3 of people don't think you're white, chances are that you're not getting the same benefits as people that are seen as white by nearly all.
