The ancient Berbers were likely white - more in the Euro sense. Today, very few are genetically / phenotypically.

Well if it's ethiopid like east african, than around half of it is negroid at least. So still much more than 3% negroid. I am very surprised and doubt it. I thought kabyles and riffians have very low negroid admixture level and no arab admixture. Also maybe the arab is something else and arab would be as white, as even pure ancient berber. Arab is caucasoid component anyway. Berbers were never european and I doubt claims they were ever too light on average. Even though there is that old egyptian mural with different peoples and lybian berber individual is lightest and I don't know what other proof of this there might be. They are mainly west asian descended and have lived for thousands of years in a warm mediteranean climate and some in the sahara too.
