It truly depends on its suggested course of action. The universe is indeed deterministic, so absolute meaningfulness is not likely.
Yet, a proper interiorization will not forget that the self is the only shield against unexistance. As long as one exists, it's better to embrace it than to despise it.

Nihilism can completely halt life if excessive focus is given to the deterministic side of it, but can be a proper instrument in the quest for greater strength and cunning if used correctly.
