A good ol M4 is good for me.

We got a lot of guns in my family but an M4 is sadly not one of them.I'll buy one in the future probably.

The CQR AEG short barrel variant looks best.

the .223 or 556 nato ammo only works its best with a 20 in barrel, thats why they have had so many problems with them. its a very small bullet so you gotta max its speed.

Why would you even buy .223 Rem?????

Its shit,can't compare to the 5.56/45 NA.Guess if you just shooting at bottles and don't want to waste good ammo you could get .223.

The reason for the .223 when it was designed, was that a soldier could carry a lot more ammo because of its smaller size. If everything was just a size issue we'd just give everyone 20mm vulcan cannons. The best all around cartridge is the .308, 7.62 NATO

The 6.8 spc is a compromise between the kick and capability of a 7.62 NATO and the carrying capacity of the 5.56, but that includes replacing ALL of NATO'S inventory and the entire structure that supports it, which is expensive as hell.

Never heard one firing 308s or 7.62

I know the Bushmaster uses 7.62 and there is a 308 CQB but those are mods and deviations.
