Brazilian Portuguese sounds African influenced, at least the varieties I have heard of it (Minas Gerais, Bahia, etc). The drawn out vowels especially.

Their genetic makeup comes from their region.

Ok so I'm not sure how you misread my first post which was very specific and have me an attitude over it. You misunderstood a clear post specifying the Brazilians here from the north and east coasts are the ones with the African influenced dialect. Nothing to do with your region.

South - perfectly understandable.
North - I just don't understand when he's talking about things that doesn't exist here or expressions I don't know.

Mexican educated spanish is very good and obviously closer to the educated Spanish from Spain, I dont want you to think I say this because I am mexican but the level of our Spànish Is actually excellent.


I cannot talk much about Portuguese from Portugal anad from Brazil because I dont even speak portuguese but I think it mus be something similar to the Spanish Mexican and the Spanish from Spain.
