When I walk into the gas station at 3 or 4 am...and the once slouching Clerk suddenly tenses up and is alert. This is how I know that I'm the intimidating one.

I mostly don't notice minorities to be honest. When I go to the airport I often go on the bus and each trip is usually enough to garner an amusing story about inner city black people though. My favorite is when they are just drunk to passed out on the bus and they just roll all over the floor smashing into posts and legs

Please answer the poll and describe how do you react to the pressure. If you are the only white person in a bus for example, would you feel you're putting yourself in danger?

Why would I feel uncomfortable? I would just be myself. As long as no one is fucking with me, I have nothing to fear.

I don't live around many minorities, I live in an ethnic enclave where everyone where I live is Canarian descent, so I'm not as exposed to multiculturalism as others on here. But when I leave my community and go to the city or other suburbs or across the bayou, I come in contact with others of different ethnicities and multiculturalism is in full view in front of me and there is no problem. They usually take to me fine and always wanna know about my people and our community (lol, we are like a mystery to them or something). When I leave my community, I come across Cajuns, non-Cajun whites, blacks, Hondurans, Arabs and Vietnamese. I get along with them fine. I just be myself. I'm not uncomfortable at all. But then I go home, and everyone looks like me

Maybe it's just the stereotype of your color rather than you personally.
