Damn I've even known of British people regarding Romanians as "poles". NO doubt they might see them as "Darker"

Yes there are English people of foreign descent, but the number of dark-haired/eyed English people goes considerably beyond that. While there is a large Germanic influence as you say, there is also the darker Paleoatlantid strain too, which makes them quite distinct from Scandinavians and even many Germans and Dutch.

There is an often understated Brunn and atlantid strain in parts of southern Scandinavia too.

That is definitely not true, and it just shows you don't know what you're talking about. Also, Swiss Germans aren't any darker than other South Germans.



Northern Germans are blonder but not by much (and even North Germans are still mostly brown haired as adults.) South Germans are darker.

Northern germans are mostly dark blonde/golden brown-lightbrown.

ANd swiss speaking germans are darker than germans in average, no matter from where in germany.

With all that I said earlier, I more agree with you than disagree. I don't think the English are as overwhelmingly Germanic as some still seem to wanna think (even despite genetic testing).

Considering the english and British Islanders as germanic was always handy , because It means an automatical addition of several millions of peoples to the germanic world Counting the english and sometimes even scots as germanic and not the Irish really doesnt make any sense, since both cultures and outlook of those peoples are extremely similar. The english are nothing like their neighbours on the other side of the north sea.

I've posted evidence for English people being as similar too Irish as NW germans. Where's your proof?
