    Its not only intellectually discomforting but they are so forceful and conformist oriented that if you for a second try to espouse your opinion its off to be racked.     Yeah, I know what you mean. It's like trying to have a reasonable conversation with a member of the Taliban. Maybe the website Debunking the Arguments of Christian Fundamentalists and Evangelists will be of some help to you. I've found it a good resource to use if you have to debate a fundamentalist.
