One of the greatest example of ignorance on the part of modern libertarians, certainly. Medieval Europe was essentially libertarian, though, and that should be stressed. The problem is much greater than liberalism, which in itself is a rather nice political position. Any good idea can be distorted into something grotesque, which is essentially the problem: the modern world is based on bad ideas and distorted good ideas.
