For one, it's more optimistic, and secondly, I'm an insomniac and I enjoy lengthy dates, so when the Sun comes up, that's a good time to head back inside and call it a night.

Sunrise. Mostly because you witness it less than sunset, but also because it's optimistic and calm. It goes from dark to light, from cold to warm, just before everyone gets industrious. 04:00 to 06:00 are probably the calmest hours every day.
