I see what people mean about the optimism of sunrise, but I do like sunset. The hours after sunset are generally more free and relaxing, whereas the peace after sunrise doesn't last very long- the day and its obligations are already starting and intruding. I also just like nighttime and the dark anyway.

I like sunrise. When I come home from work in the morning, there is nothing nicer than seeing the sun rise. In the summer I always sit outside about 10 minutes watching the sun rise before I go to bed.
