Default Romanian compared to other Romance languages

How different is Romanian compared to other Romance languages?

Imo It has a very different grammar with 5 cases and 3 genders etc. A lot of the vocabulary is different like razboi instead of guerra. It doesn't use amor for love but dragostea/iubire. Prieten for friend.

Romanian has 5 cases and the words you mentioned are of slavic origin (razboi, dragoste, iubire and prieten)

Okay. I thought it was 3 cases cause I read something about Romanian preserving 3 out of 5 Latin cases but never mind okay.

I looked up the word for friends in Slavic languages (well, some of them).

    Polish: przyjaciel
    Serbian: prijatelj
    Croatian: prijatelj
    Slovak: priateľ
