    To me it sounds like Spanish with some Catalan. Written it looks like Spanish with some Catalan-like features (Catalan and Aragonese: l'amor vs Spanish: el amor).

    I am not sure. According to some sources almost all (not all, though) Romance languages get their definite article from the Latin illa meaning 'that'.
