Half of all Latin Americans in the US are white or of predominantly European descent. They speak a European language and practice Christianity. Many Korean and Vietnamese immigrants are also Christians and give their children European names. So I think most Americans haven't faced Islam yet. And Europe is having a way harder time with Muslims.
