The interesting thing is that non-English speakers mainly find the North American English ( Canadian and US English) very nasal
some of them complain about why we "swallow " words and run our words together , I personally think that some of the speakers of that accent
are really really band in enunciation .
BTW , Richard Dawkins is not an accurate example for a British accent , he uses RP , ultra posh and the most perfect sounding Queen's English ( Along with Hitchens) but people in English rarely speak that way in everyday life
