Thumbs up Introducing the European Federation

    European Federation Mission Statement

The basic mission, the very priority of the federation is to ensure security of Europeans. Which is carried out by the uplifting of the lives of every European by the means of guaranteeing financial security by creating a goal of an average salary of €40,000/year for the hard-working European. Ensure national security of constituent countries by having an unified armed force with a minimum army size of ten million active troops and twenty million reserve troops. Achieve rapid scientific and technological advancements by having an unified research policy. The continuance of the space race by incorporating all space agencies into the ESA (European Space Agency). Colonization of Mars, the Moon and beyond the Milky Way a priority of the ESA. The end result of such federation is the uplifting of the lives of Europeans, the empowerment of our people, and ensure that we will continue to grow as a people, and put aside
    irredentism
    which encourages conflict among Europeans.

I'm not so sure if we should include Brazil and South Africa since Europeans are a minority in both countries. Perhaps if we were to include both, a policy of expelling non-Europeans should be carried out in both countries?

At the first glance the idea is interesting enough yet it does away with the ideas of national sovereignty (that "does away with petty nationalism part turned me off completely) and I wonder whether such a project would be politically, socially and economically feasible.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

I don't think the constituent countries have to surrender sovereignty completely. They should be able to maintain their own military similar to the USA's National Guard. The functions of the European Federation would be pretty similar to the current federal government of the USA and the recently-enacted Treaty of Lisbon in the EU. A strong, centralized government will be needed to lead a federation of this magnitude. Of course such government will still be elected in by the people of constituent countries.

I think that a league of European nations would be preferable. Because any form of centralization crushes national sovereignty. You will end up with something very similar to the EU and since that I live in it.. I would rather do without.

Something like the EFTA would be enough to settle affairs between European states.

I don't think the loss of national sovereignty in favor of a powerful federation will be a big deal. The creation of such federation will only advance our people much quicker and we won't be threatened by any non-European powers such as China with her nukes or India for instance. We will be able to have an unified policy of keeping non-Europeans out. An unified economic policy ensuring high quality of life among all Europeans. An unified space agency, that will quicken our advancements in the space and perhaps discover a new galaxy beyond the Milky Way. Our technological and scientific advancements will be much more rapid if this federation were to come to fruition guaranteeing that non-Europeans nation will not be able to match us militarily, and basically neutralizing them into non-threats. And scientific and technological advancements are also used for peaceful purposes which also further increase our quality of life.

Expelling 90% of South Africa's population, i.e. 44 million? To where?

Sounds like a shit idea to me. Especially in the realms of scientific and technological achievement. The "balkanized" form of Europe was a key factor that led to its technological and scientific development. It's called competition, and it's a driving force in the world.

Just look at the monolith that was China. Granted they were one of the most technologically advanced ANCIENT civilizations, but they were a technological backwater during a period from the 13th century until the 20th century. The Great Leap Forward anyone? Mao looked around on a global scale and was just like "ohshi-".

A unified Europe is a dead Europe. Europe will never be unified, ever. Hell, the Romans couldn't even keep 1/3 of it together.

This is some kind of joke, right? Extremely elaborate trolling?

Why only explore and colonize the Milky Way? What about the black holes? They should be used for some advantage of Europeans, too?
