My personal opinion is that these hippies should go home. The disease of 'democracy' should not gain a foothold in China. Hong Kong residents should be content with Beijing-approved candidates. China's one-party system works very well. I hope China nips this thing in the bud.

I thought it was going to follow the same pattern as tunisia egypt etc...but the hong kong hipsters havent rallied the mainland peasants the same way the Tahreer hipsters rallied the Egyptian peasants.

Yeah, I was mistaken to think such a thing could happen...The Arab Spring and Ukrainian revolutions have more in common with one another than either does with the news out of Hong Kong.
