There is a lot of examples like this one, many of romance language died not long ago, and unfortunately it seems that Istro-Romanian language will die as well.

Istro-romanians do not have anything to do with Morlachs, Morlachs came to area of Croatia as Austrian mercenaries, to make a stand against Turks along with other Christians back than.

Border of today Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina was in fact in those times a border between Christian Europe and Ottoman Empire.
Istro-romanian, aromanian and megleno-romanian are much closer to romanians than to any other languages though. No debate there. They are eastern romance languages and they have romanian in the name...

Yes they are closer to Romanian language considering linguistics, but in linguistic terms, Romanian language is closer to French than to Italian, how do you explain that?

Also if you look what is what trough name, than I guess Romanians are all from Rome

But I think the Romanian derived names are modern and invented by linguists. Romanian language is much closer to Italian than to French. Romanians just like France and the French more.

First of all it should be noted that the term (name) Aromanian or Vlach are both exonyms; the first one is a modern term, while the second one is a medieval term. The Aromanians call themselves Armân, Rrâmân or Makidon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromani...classification

Also if we include genetics in all of this, to be more specific - Y DNA genetic, there is no doubt about it... Both Greeks and Albanians have dominant E1b1b V-13 haplogroup, while Serbian dominant is I2a2 (I2a1b). I really don't want to involve genetics into all of this but I think in this case It's needed.
The thing is that haplogroups don't define the looks of a person , Hitler was e-v13 but he looked austrian , a Kosovar Albanian and a Montenegrin or a south Serb are probably the closest from the looks

True, I was thinking about it when said some of them died not long ago as languages.

Last speaker of Dalmatian-Latin language died 1898, but great amount of Dalmatian-Latin words remained in today Dalmatian (Chakavian & Ikavian) dialect.

Ofcourse it doesn't define the looks of a person, but the purpose of Y-DNA is to trace a distant origin, because of that, Y-DNA is one of the best tools in modern Archaeology considering human migrations etc...

Sure it does with some exceptions, Hitler's E-v13 paternal ancestor was probably from thousands of years ago, same as Loki's, the looks will get dilluted as opposed to Balkan folk that keep mixing. 12a2 men look the same to me.
