I'm just supporting a more southern origin for J yDNA clades. I'm always thinking about more basal clades of J Y-haplogroup, even because its relation with paleolithical european I yDNA. Being both F yDNA derivatives, which route did they use to reache western world from South Asia? A coastal migration around the Gulf, or a very difficult crossing of mountains of Iran/Zagroian/Anatolian (without goats, mules and sheeps to help them)?
