Ouistreham this is not the appropriate thread for trolling, if you have any information about Celtic and Atlantid cultures, you are free to post, but your personal opinion is not a point of interest in this thread in particular. If you have any doubt about the Celts of Galicia and elsewhere in Spain, ask for information or use google, all information of Celtiberians is easily accessible.

Espada tengo. Lo demás, Dios lo remedie.

In the west almost all Spain had been subjugated, except that part which adjoins the cliffs where the Pyrenees end and is washed by the nearer waters of the ocean. Here two powerful nations, the Cantabrians and the Asturians, lived in freedom from the rule of Rome.")

Megalithic monuments aren't celtic for sure. In western europe, they can be dated back to the fourth to second millennium b.c, whereas the celts didn't appear until the end of the bronze age (900-700 b.c)

But if we're talking about the atlantic culture or heritage, then it must be part of it.

Next time I am in Portugal, I will ask my grandparents where they hide the bagpipes, kilts and Haggis.

There is a socio-cultural continuum all along the Atlantic fringe that began in the the late Bronze Age and expanded dramatically in the Iron Age. and it still has some relevance today. There are many academic books and articles on the subject - people like Henderson (2011), Cunliffe and Koch (2010, 2011), Cunliffe (2005), Moore and Armada (2012) and more, too numerous to post here. Educate yourself. If you don't like what you read, it's tough. The truth is not according to biased people like you, rather, it lies with the archaeologists, social scientists, linguists, etc. If you don't want to contribute positively, leave. Enough codswallop.

I wasn't aware of the existence of this Atlantic façade. The Bretons, Irish, Welsh, Scots neither I assume. When was this created? What is wrong about being only Iberian and not an Atlanticfaçader? Do people in Portugal and Spain really believe it?

    Of course ...

Celticity in the Atlantic Zone developed in the late Bronze, expanding greatly during the Iron Age.
What is Celtic are things like Celtic hillforts, various material culture, etc.

This thread is not only about Celticity but the Atlantic fringe in general and, as you point out, anything social, cultural and economic having to do with
    the region is of relevance.

There are many academic publications on the subject. Read Moore and Armada (eds): Atlantic Europe in he First Millennium BC: Crossing the Divide, Oxford University Press, Oxford (2012).
Iberians in the west of the Iberian Peninsula are well aware of the Atlantic fringe continuum.

Notice how some people always bring up Africa to diminish anything Iberian. Must be some mental illness.

Do people have a Atlanticfaçace identity NOW? Or is it just some sort of "let's go north! We are not Moors!" for Iberian Wogs?
