Rare in my country (less than 8 occurence in France). Way more common in Germanic countries, which is a hint of german ancestry where there shouldn't be

American is not an ethnicity. I am of mostly Russian blood, with a bit of German and English as well. Lived in Russia for a while a few years back.

Well, according to this article about Serbs in BiH, I'm just reading: it's in the top 50 surnames, among 6000 different surnames, most common in Eastern Bosnia.

My surname is a rare variant of a much more common one, so it gets regularly misspelt.

    Nice!

My surname is 40,322 most common in the world with 196 people, not families. Meaning unknown, most prevalent and densest in the US.

126 in the US, 64 in Brazil, 4 in Canada, 2 in England (it's 6 now, that data must be from the 90s).
