How do you define a soul, personally. I am not asking for the dictionary definition, I am asking for your defenition.

Yes, though not tangible I do believe in elements of the soul. However, it's difficult for me to define it, maybe tomorrow after some ample sleep

it is our inner self , our inner voice , our inner consciousness and what kind of "heart" you have

I believe that we all after we die will be judged by god of what kind of person we are ...our bodies will be dead but our souls will take a journey

now this I believe independently of any religion ....let all religions just beside for a few minutes and try to look at this topic objectively ...there is no way that we as human beings with all our emotions (no homo) , intelligence , conscience etc. will just be put to 0 when we die and will just sleep lol

No, I think our "soul" is just made of chemical reactions in our heads. When I die, there is no more "me". Just void.

Interesting. The ancient Greek word "psyche" is roughly translated as mind and soul; they sort of had the same concept for both. The word referred to all the mental, as opposed to physical, characteristics of a person. The more I've thought about it, however, the more I'm convinced that the mental characteristics are physical as well (emotions, memories, thoughts, being interactions between electrical impulses and brain chemistry). Perhaps the sciences will one day come to describe the "soul" in strict terminology.
