    Naah.

Its all biology and the brain.

Surgeons open people up all the time and nobody found a soul yet.

It sounds strange but I used to be quite open to the idea of people having souls. But then a person very close to me passed away and it just seemed really, really hard to believe that his soul was in the sky or something.

So, no I don't think it exists. My disbelief stems from the lack of evidence both scientific and empirical.

Yes, absolutely. The soul is separate from both mind and body. It's the very essence of who you are. You aren't your mind, your mind if more like the control panel between your soul and your body. Your soul is you.

There was a time when in the pit of my chest I felt a strong pain, so it became pretty obvious to me that this isn't my alcohol cirrhosed liver.

I believe soul is what makes (some) people differentiate between good and evil.

    Indeed.

Humans' brains are just upgraded version of animals' brains. It is just a computer which is programmed to do certain things. We have logic which animals lack etc. But what would make people go against what they are programmed to do and doing something good to somebody without having the smallest benefit of it? I believe soul does.

I don't think there's a definitive way of knowing either way.

Well, it's a complicated thing, i define the soul as a kind of intangible energy that enlivens the substance and survives the physical deterioration of it(sound a bit from vocabulary but i didn't use it).

As for the concept, i think soul is a noumenon, something intelligible but impossible to demonstrate scientifically, so from a ration/ scientifical point of view my answer should be not or i don't know. From a moral and sentimental point of view my answer is yes, because it constitutes a posite idea for the life and for the human conduct.
