    Some proto-Slavic words come from proto-Germanic. For example, *xlěbъ and *kъnędzь.

    That's what I meant. In proto-Germanic, some words are of Celtic origin. Do you count them as foreign? Latin has words from Etruscan (arena, market), are they foreign too?

    I'm not sure. If it were up to me I would consider any words that are widely used in the language and are accepted by most speakers to be a real word to be native.
