Why are British accents so damn sexy?

Not all of them , do not confuse the general British accent with RP
RP is the one that sounds sophisticated and posh
some accents are really weird like Brian Johnson's of AC/DC
you can't understand a word from his speech

Personally, I do like the sound of some British accents, but I wouldn't say they are sexy (or: sexier than American ones).

With an exception... I have an irrational Scotland fetish, so a Scottish accent definitely qualifies as sexy. And since the independence referendum failed, I suppose that 'Scottish' still counts as 'British'. ^ ^

I don't like the British accent in women. I prefer the American southern accent or Russian women speaking English.
